On a daily basis, I work with over 100 SEND pupils, employing specialist strategies and maintaining close communication with SENDCos, parents, and support staff to ensure every child’s needs are met. I focus on removing the barriers to learning, whether that's through refining essay structure for an A-Level Geographer or building the core mathematical foundations for a GCSE student."

- A-Levels: Geography, Economics, and Anthropology (plus AS-Level Maths)
Experience:
Shannon is an experienced educator currently teaching Geography at Icknield Community College, with additional experience leading classes in Maths, English, and History. She has five years of tutoring experience and three years of classroom teaching, including significant work with Key Stages 2 through 4. Her professional background includes delivering specialised English and Maths tuition and managing social projects for teenagers. Shannon is highly trained in school-based specialist areas, including advanced safeguarding, teacher mentoring, behavior management, and oracy.
