Experience:
Luke has over 20 years of experience in state and private education. Though he initially trained as a doctor, he chose to pursue a career in education, bringing with him significant clinical experience in paediatrics dealing with complex cases. He has worked extensively with school refusers and children on EOTAS packages and EHCPs for local authorities and specialist schools.
His journey began during his A-Levels; he spent two years working in schools while travelling before university, where he was quickly given responsibility for managing complex students and leading classes. Throughout his career, Luke has delivered specialist SEN teaching while also running "gifted and talented" provisions, including inventors' clubs, computer programming, and advanced maths groups for top learners. He also developed an innovative online learning platform designed to keep the human teacher central to the process - a project that served as the direct inspiration for the creators of Omniloquent.
Hobbies and Interests: Making music (piano and guitar), downhill mountain biking, carpentry and building (Luke is proficient in most trades), and raising his four boys.
