"My teaching is built on a foundation of thirteen years in the classroom and nearly a decade in school leadership. I believe that effective learning happens when we remove the barriers that make a student feel stuck. Drawing on my experience in Senior Leadership and SEN coordination, I focus on making specific, high-impact adaptations to every lesson, ensuring that even complex GCSE concepts are accessible, engaging, and tailored to how each individual student actually learns."

Experience:
As the Chief Academic Officer of OpenField Education, Josh brings 13 years of primary school teaching experience to the team. He spent 9 years as a member of a Senior Leadership Team, serving as Head of Year, Head of English, and Head of Maths. In addition to his primary expertise, Josh has 3 years of experience in GCSE Maths tutoring and is highly skilled in making in-class adaptations for SEN pupils in mainstream education. He has also completed specialised Maths leadership training and advanced safeguarding training.
